William (Bill) Corneliuson
Position: Director

Mr. Corneliuson is founder, President and Chief Investment Officer of B.C. Holdings. He has over 30 years of investment experience in a range of asset management positions including managing large institutional portfolios, mutual funds and a private investment fund.

Prior to founding B.C. Holdings, Mr. Corneliuson co-founded Strong Capital Management in 1976, which became Strong/Corneliuson Capital Management, where he served as the firm's president and raised and managed several billion dollars of institutional assets and a variety of mutual funds that achieved superior ratings.

Mr. Corneliuson received a B.A. in Political Science and subsequently an MBA from Michigan State University. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps where he achieved the rank of Captain.

 
David Dreisinger, PhD., P.Eng.
Position: Director

Dr. Dreisinger holds the position of Professor and Chair holder of the Industrial Research Chair in Hydrometallurgy at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Dreisinger has published over 100 papers and has been extensively involved as a process consultant in industrial research programs with metallurgical companies. He has participated in 11 U.S. patents for work in areas such as pressure leaching, ion exchange removal of impurities from process solutions, use of thiosulfate as an alternative to cyanide in gold leaching, and leach-electrolysis treatment of copper recovery from sulfide ores and the Sepon Copper Process for copper recovery from sulfidic-clayey ores. He will work closely with the feasibility consultant to design and complete all aspects of the testwork.

 
W. Ian L. Forrest, CA
Position: Director

Mr. Forrest has 30 years experience with public companies in the resource sector having dealt with promotion, financing, exploration, production and company management. Notable projects include Gulfstream's North Dome gas discovery, Qatar, Reunion Mining's Scorpion zinc, Namibia, which was subsequently developed by Anglo American and Ocean Diamond Mining which pioneered the independent diamond dredging industry off the west coast of southern Africa.

He is currently a director of several resource companies in the Oil & Gas and mining sectors.

 
George Molyviatis
Position: Director

Mr. Molyviatis worked as a private banker in Geneva and ran two investment funds. He specializes in resource sector projects and owns large forestry and timber processing facilities in Georgia and Russia.

 
William Murray, P.Eng.
Position: Executive Chairman & Director

Mr. Murray is an engineer in the mining industry with 33 years of experience in construction management and project evaluation in North America and Africa. His initial involvement with PolyMet was as principal of Optimum Project Services Ltd., a consulting firm which led the approach to the technical improvements and large capital cost reductions on the NorthMet Project. Optimum's approach is fit for purpose engineering which has allowed several projects to be developed. Mr. Murray has also been keenly involved in the development of new process technology.

Mr. Murray has been involved in numerous successful projects while working at Fluor Daniel (a large US Engineering & Construction contractor), Denison Mines (construction of the $1.2 billion Quintette Coal project), Optimum Project Services and Anglo American Corp in South Africa.

 
Joe Scipioni
Position: President, CEO, COO & Director

Mr. Scipioni's career spanned more than 30 years with United States Steel Corporation where he worked in a number of progressively senior positions in operations. His last position was Plant Manager at the Keewatin Taconite plant in Minnesota. In addition, Mr. Scipioni has served in leadership positions with the Iron Mining Association of Minnesota, Central Iron Range Initiative, United Way of Northeastern Minnesota and Hibbing Chamber of Commerce.

 
Frank Sims
Position: Director

Mr. Sims is a recognized business leader whose career has been focused in Minnesota and the upper Midwest. Mr. Sims has provided corporate leadership to Cargill, Incorporated as Corporate Vice President. Cargill is an international provider of food, agricultural and risk management products and services. Mr. Sims joined Minnesota headquartered Cargill in 1972.

He currently serves on the board of Piper Jaffray Companies. Mr. Sims has previously served on the board of Tennant Company, as Vice-Chair of the U.S. Marine Transportation System National Advisory Council, was a Chairman of the board of the North American Export Grain Association, and as well a Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.

 
James Swearingen
Position: Director

Mr. Swearingen formerly managed the largest mining operation in North America, US Steel's Minntac mine and plant along Minnesota's Mesabi Iron Range; serving as General Manager of Minnesota Ore Operations. He currently serves as co-chair the Governor's Committee on Minnesota's Mining Future. Mr. Swearingen is also active with other groups to bring new technology to northeastern Minnesota to develop non-ferrous mines and new, value added, projects in steel making. He is also an active advisor to the University of Minnesota's Natural Resources Research Institute based in Duluth, Minnesota.

Douglas J. Newby
Position: Chief Financial Officer

Douglas Newby has 25 years of experience in the evaluation and financing of mining companies and projects around the world. He started his career with James Capel & Co. in London, where he was a top-ranked mining analyst. He subsequently worked with Morgan Grenfell & Co. in London and New York and S.G. Warburg & Co. in New York. Mr. Newby is also president of Proteus Capital Corp., a corporate advisory business based in New York that is focused on the natural resource industry, which he formed in the early 1990s. His primary responsibilities with the company are to structure and arrange financing to place the company's NorthMet project into production.

Niall Moore
Position: Corporate Secretary & Group Controller

Mr. Moore has over 20 years of experience with public companies in the resource sector. Most recently, he worked fulltime for Placer Dome Inc. and as a consultant to Barrick Gold, Inc. Prior to that was an audit partner at Ernst & Young LLP. He has extensive experience in financial reporting, compliance and valuation work. His primary responsibilities with the Company include legal and regulatory compliance, financial reporting and internal controls.
