Roberto Huby

Roberto Huby was elected to the board of directors in June 2020. He is a member of the Audit Committee (non-voting), and serves on the Technical Steering Committee, the Health, Safety, Environment and Communities Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.

Mr. Huby is the general manager, corporate affairs, for Glencore’s South American copper operations. He joined the company in 2007 and has held various positions with responsibility in the marketing and assets divisions. He also serves as a member of the board of Compañía Minera Antamina S.A., Minera Agua Rica Alumbrera Limited, and Compañía Minera Antapaccay S.A. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Mr. Huby holds a Corporate Board Certificate from Harvard Business School and a Sustainability Professional Certificate from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). He resides in Peru.
